Use only the search options that you need--leave the others blank.
Product Name
Enter words that appear in the product name. Example: WEB SERVER.
Company
Enter the name of the company. For example, HAYSTACK LAB? Leave out words like Corp., Inc., Ltd., etc.
Description
Enter words that describe the application of the software, for example, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE.
Type or Operating System
You can focus the search by broad product type (software for mainframes or minicomputers, for example) or more narrowly by specific operating system. For some software products, other applications are required--these are listed along with operating systems, e.g., 'MS Excel required.'
