Use only the search options that you need--leave the others blank.
Words in Title
Enter words that must appear in the title. For different word endings, use the ? wildcard. Example: REDUC? searches for reduce, reduces, reducing, reduction, etc. Combine words to get specific information. Example: CHOLESTEROL AND (REDUC? OR LOW?)
Search by Subject
Use this option to search words that need to appear in the title or subject keywords. You can use wildcards and combine words, as described above.
CAS Registry Number
Enter the CAS Registry Number for a substance, including all hyphens. You can enter more than one number, for example: 7784-13-6 OR 7784-18-1. To locate the CAS Registry Number for a drug name, use the Chemical Substances Directory search.
